Nik and Marion have each been teaching for nearly ten years. In September 2024, they began working together, and an immediate connection emerged. Since then, they have been traveling from festival to festival, driven by a shared love for swing dances such as Lindy Hop, Balboa, and Solo Jazz.
Nik’s precision and strong sense of musicality blend seamlessly with Marion’s creative energy, resulting in a partnership that feels both balanced and dynamic on the dance floor. After taking part in international competitions—an enriching experience for both—they decided to combine their strengths and teach together

Marion’s swing dancing journey began in 2016, diving into Solo Jazz, Lindy Hop, Balboa, and Collegiate Shag. Backed by 11 years of modern jazz and 16 years of artistic gymnastics, she quickly developed a strong sense of musicality and partner connection, leading her to join the Vintage Club Performance Teams. Rather than specializing in a single dance, Marion needs the full spectrum of swing dances to feel complete. For her, Lindy Hop, Balboa, Shag, and Solo Jazz are interconnected expressions of the same language: Jitterbug.
An international competition winner in Jitterbug, Collegiate Shag, Balboa, and Lindy Hop, Marion is an expressive, creative, and curious dancer who celebrates and shares an equal love for all swing dances.
Since beginning her official teaching career in 2021, Marion has grown into a complete dancer and instructor, teaching across all major swing dance styles. Known for her warm and infectious enthusiasm, she creates an environment where dancers feel supported, confident, and inspired on the dance floor and beyond.

 

From an early age, dance became an obvious calling for Nik. His journey quickly expanded to other swing styles, leading to a deep and lasting love for Lindy Hop, Solo Jazz, Balboa, and Blues.

Since 2015, he has been teaching various dance styles regularly on his local scene in Munich and has occasionally taught at small festivals across Europe. Attentive to each dancer, Nik prioritizes a personalized approach to teaching, adapting to individual levels and needs to help students grow with confidence and enjoyment.

Balboa BIG FAN 

You are a huge fan of Balboa, have learned, practised and perhaps even understood the most important basics such as quicks, slows, up-hold, down-hold, toss out, come around, various footwork variations… and can dance to fast Balboa music.
You want to practise, understand and improve your basics and connect more with the music. You regularly go to social dances and other swing events.

Lindy Hop BIG FAN 

You are a huge fan of Lindy Hop, have not only learned but internalised the most important basics such as 6- and 8-count rhythms, swing out, tuck turn, basic Lindy Charleston… and you already know that you will never be done learning Lindy Hop :D. You want to practise, understand and improve your basics and connect more with the music. You regularly attend social dances and other Lindy Hop events.

Lindy Hop TEACHER (Teacher/adv Training)

You have studied and danced Lindy Hop intensively and have a broad repertoire of basics that you can lead/follow confidently. You have a secure connection and can lead or follow more complex patterns even to fast music without having to think about the basics. You want to delve deeper into the technique.

Lindy Hop / Balboa per block (1,5 hrs each)

  • Members 1.BWC: 20 € per block
  • Non-members 1.BWC: 30 € per block
