WORKSHOP Beschreibung

Have you been dancing for a while but haven’t figured out yet why not everything works as easy as the teachers say? Maybe dancing to fast music is still a challenge or some figures seem impossible to reproduce? We got you! With this technique workshop we will go through the secrets preventing you from truly shining!

1st part: STEPS!
11.00h – 13.00h
Triples and rocksteps might sound easy… sometimes at least. Here we will thoroughly practice the way we step into the floor to make the best out of each small step. Grooving, bouncing and turning, all connected and coordinated to happen so the dance flows on beat.

2nd part: STRETCH AND CONNECTION!
14.00h – 16.00h
Relax the arms, but engage the body? Lead the direction but not too strong? Follow being late but stay on the beat? Stay connected but open the position? All these confusing directions will make sense at the end!

Lindy Hop ?!+-

You should already have a basic understanding of Lindy Hop and have learned the most important basics (triple steps, rock steps, 6-count and 8-count basic, Lindy Charleston Basic, tuck turn, swing out, circle, send out…).

If you are not yet particularly confident in your basics, this workshop will still help you progress, but we may recommend that you don’t work on everything at once, but rather focus on fewer things more intensively and for longer.

Comparative local levels: This workshop is designed to bring together levels from low to high, working together and benefiting from each other. It doesn’t matter whether you’ve been dancing for a year or ten years, as long as you are open to questioning what you have already learned and working on it.

 

Lindy Hop per Block (1 Block = 2 hrs)

  • Members 1.BWC: 10 € per Block
  • Non-members 1.BWC: 15 € per Block
