Swing & Blues dance Scene
in and around Nuremberg

THAT SWING is the home of the swing and blues scene in and around Nuremberg. Here you find out all about Lindy Hop, Balboa, Collegiate Shag und Blues dance.
THAT SWING started out two decades ago as a platform for the local swing and blues scene. Since January 2026 we also run a swing dance school as a base for the swing culture in and around Nuremberg. Through new initiatives, we aim to spread swing dancing with depth, groove, and a whole lot of joy – always rooted in music, culture, and community. Together with our friends and partners from the scene, we bring classes, workshops, and events together and keep the swing alive.
